Born into poverty and rising to superstardom, our favorite jazz singer lived life on her own terms and wasn’t intimidated by anyone. She sang with the best in the business and was known for wearing white gardenias in her hair. Her voice was light and melodic, floating above the music in a way that many have tried to copy, but none have matched. She inspired new ways of singing, and taught jazz musicians just what was possible. For many, hers is the voice of jazz itself.

As she was known for her expressive jazz blues numbers, the blues are where we started with a midnight blue watch face. Representing Lady Day’s tenacity and strength, this timepiece is crafted of stainless steel. And, in a tip of our hat to the white gardenias she wore in her hair, we’ve encrusted the rose gold finished bezel with 60 sparkling white stones.
