14K Vermeil Opal Earrings

Legend has it that an ancient Roman Senator named Nonius once possessed a magnificent opal that was “as large as a hazelnut.” The gem was so impressive that when Mark Anthony sought it for his lover, Cleopatra, the senator refused to part with the remarkable stone. Banished into exile, Nonius fled and left behind all of his wordly possessions…except for the fabled opal.
